Intimate partner violence in Australia is a serious issue that goes significantly unreported. It is a persisting challenge to get individuals to seek format support (Ragusa, 2013, p.688), particularly due to the struggle of deciding where to report incidents of such a sensitive topic (Signal & Taylor, 2008, p.16). It is a problem that is seen that is an issue that only exists in the global south, however in reality its a global sex problem, affecting 30% of women world wide.
